How long has PropertyIQ been in business?
PropertyIQ commenced on 1 April 2008. PropertyIQ is a Joint Venture that brings together the QV Online business that has been operating within Quotable Value Limited since July 1998 and RPNZ (the New Zealand business of RP Data) that commenced operations in New Zealand in April 2001.

How is PropertyIQ structured?

Where does PropertyIQ source its data from?
We source our data from a wide range of different organisations including our partners, local councils, Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), residential rental data from the Department of Building and Housing (DBH), census data from Statistics New Zealand, and a number of commercial organisations.
What kind of information does PropertyIQ have?
We maintain a number of different databases with the central connection that all data is linked back to individual properties. The property information data that PropertyIQ has is very broad and extensive and holds detailed records on over 1.8 million properties in New Zealand. How often is PropertyIQ's data updated?
Our property database is updated daily, with additional data from different sources added weekly, monthly annually and in the case of Census data five yearly.
